Optores is pleased to announce that it's NG-FDML wavelength-swept laser has been selected as a Prism Award finalist in the category of lasers. The Prism award is a prestigious international industry recognition presented by SPIE (the International Society for Optics and Photonics).
Optores co-founder Robert Huber wins the European Inventor Award, together with James Fujimoto and Eric Swanson. Robert Huber invented the FDML laser, which was later commercialized by Optores, providing the world's first MHz-OCT solutions.
Optores is selected as one of the top 20 start-ups for the Photonics Award. The competition invited startups in the European-wide technology community that are no more than five years old, and will present winners at the startup world at Laser World of Photonics trade show in Munich, Germany.
